Get into your career and start working to add value to your employer. Your career will start to show up as you find the things that you truly enjoy.

That was my message to graduating accouting students at Salisbury University & Loyola University last week. That line is from a terrific little book every student shoud have. It is the Adventures of Johnny Bunko - The Last Career Guide You'll Ever Need by Daniel Pink.

1. There is no plan, no set path
2. Think strengths not weaknesses
3. It's not about you (it's about adding value)
